Troubleshooting

My announcement isn't sending at the scheduled time

Check your timezone settings and ensure they match your intended schedule. Verify that the announcement is enabled and not in draft mode. The bot needs proper permissions in all target channels.

Template variables aren't being replaced in my messages

Ensure you're using the correct variable syntax with curly braces. Variables are case-sensitive and must match exactly. Check that the variable is supported for your platform (Discord/Telegram).

Announcements aren't appearing in some channels

Verify that the Flake bot has Send Messages permissions in all target channels. Check if the channels are configured correctly in your announcement settings.

Recurring announcements stopped working

Check if the announcement has reached its end date (if set). Verify that the announcement is still enabled and hasn't been accidentally disabled. Review the interval settings for accuracy.

Message formatting isn't working correctly

Different platforms (Discord vs Telegram) support different markdown syntax. Use the preview feature to test formatting. Ensure you're using the correct markdown for your target platform.

Can't select certain channels for announcements

The bot needs appropriate permissions in channels to send announcements. Ensure the Flake bot has admin or Send Messages permissions in the channels you want to target.
